Phil is a Consultant Psychologist who has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults with a range of challenges including developmental trauma, anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties.

Services can be provided under Medicare, NDIS (Self or Plan Managed), Private and Third Party.

Therapy

 

Phil provides assessment and therapy for children, teens and adults for a range challenges including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and autism spectrum disorder.

 

Neurofeedback

 

Neurofeedback is a form of biofeedback for the brain. It provides individuals with opportunity to learn to manage their brainwave activity. Changes in brainwave activity can lead to changes in symptoms of ADHD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, traumatic brain injury, sleep, and other problems.

 

Training and Supervision

 

Phil is the developer of the Building New Pathways series, an integrative clinical model based on principles of neuroscience for supporting individuals who have experienced childhood trauma.

Phil has provided training in the Building New Pathways model across a variety of settings including mental health professionals, foster care agencies, residential care agencies and education settings.

 

The NEST Program

 

Phil is also the developer of NeuroSensory Therapeutic (NEST) Program in collaboration with Ability Focus Occupational Therapy. The NEST Program is a 6-month intensive program that integrates psychology and occupational therapy.

It is an intervention that seeks to support children and adolescents who have experienced developmental trauma to regulate their nervous system while developing attachment security with their caregivers.
